Namgyal Bhutia is a board certified psychiatrist. He started his medical career in Kolkata India and started working as a psychiatrist at Bellevue Hospital. He worked in many diverse areas including inpatient, outpatient, detox and with veterans. He had the approach needed to enhance his culture competency present counters with consumers. Being culturally aware helps him to work in collaboration with clients and families to find alternative options as well as identify the consequences
